The Home Condition Report is one of the “authorised documents” within the HIP. These are documents that can be included but are not mandatory. This report provides unbiased consumer based information about the property and its condition and must be relied on by the seller, the buyer and the mortgage lender.
Voluntary inclusion of a Home Condition Report should help to speed up
the sale and demonstrates to the buyer that both you and the property
are open and honest about the sale.
