Once you have made the decision to sell your house
there is no point in delaying but you cannot market the property until part of
the Home Information Pack (known as the mini HIP) is in place and the rest of
the documents have been ordered.

The Home Condition Report is one of the “authorised documents” within the HIP. These are documents that can be included but are not mandatory. This report provides unbiased consumer based information about the property and its condition and must be relied on by the seller, the buyer and the mortgage lender.
